What is a Byte?
Byte is modern computer science term (Pronounced "Byte"), which is used
to represent a unit of digital storage most commonly used to refer to a unit of
8 bits. The modern 8 bit microprocessor often uses this unit represent a
character or number in a series of binary digits, or 1's and 0's. Binary is the
basic language that all computers use to operate.
What is a KB?
KB is an abbreviation for Kilobyte which derived from the international
system of units prefix "Kilo" in combination with the word Byte, which is unit
of measurement use in modern computers. Although the metric equivalent
signifies the number 1000, the prefix "Kilo" in this context is used as a
binary prefix, and while ambiguous in its definition, it is more commonly used
to signify 1024 bytes.

MB is an abbreviation for Megabyte which derived from the international
system of units prefix "Mega in combination with the word Byte, which is unit
of measurement use in modern computers. Although the metric equivalent
signifies the number 1000, the prefix "Mega" in this context is used as a
binary prefix, and while ambiguous in its definition, it is more commonly used
to signify 1024 Kilobytes. It is commonly abbreviated MB (not to be confused
with Mb, which is used for the megabit, which consists of bits as opposed to
bytes). The term megabyte was coined in 1970.
